It doesn’t matter if the Pastoral Symphony segment is censored, as I plan to do my own reconstruction of the original roadshow version of the movie. It had some pretty bad vinegar syndrome, almost all of the color was gone, and it was most certainly not a “1940 print.” It was a reprint of the general release version from the late 40s. I am looking for a scan of the original 1940 general release version of Fantasia (NOT the “restored” reconstructed censored roadshow version with contemporary overdubs that is available on bluray).
